She is from a military family and both of her sons have been in the military as well, so patriotism is very important to her.  Her son John had two deployments to Iraq.  God Bless The USA is one of her favorites: we sing it at our Veterans' Day assembly, so all of our students know it.  She told me later, after giving me a hug, that that was the best thing anyone could have given her.  It was so nice of you to also serenade our little birthday boy, Sachary.  His reaction was soooo cute!!  Thank you again!!"......
